Monthly Meetings

 

Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 7:00pm at Elizabeth City Bed and Breakfast. Members receive email notification. No meetings in July and August.

 

 

Rides

 

Saturday Rides: Announcements for scheduled Saturday rides are sent to club members by email. Come Ride With Us! Tuesday - Sawmill Park, Weeksville, and Thursday - Belcross, Camden rides are during the daylight saving months. See Ride Schedule and RCCC Routes for details; meet at 6pm for a 1 hour ride through the countryside.

 

 

Our Mission

 

River City Cycling Club, Elizabeth City, NC, supports and promotes active and safe bicycling in Northeast NC. The club mission is to give to local charitable organizations supporting youth-related activities. All net proceeds from the annual TarWheel Century bicycle event are donated to organizations, such as, Kid’s First, Girls Inc., Pasquotank Library (Teen Book Section), Port Discover, Albemarle Hopeline, Food Bank, Public Schools Education Foundation, Albemarle YMCA (We Build People); plus $1000 college scholarships to needy students in the three county area. 2011 College Scholarship Awards: Jinger Russell, attending UNC-Charlotte, and Tony Royal, attending UNC-Chapel Hill.
